Color blocking is a technique of pairing opposite colors on the color wheel aiming to create interesting and complementary color combinations, that has been widely used by fashion designers over the past years.
A refreshing new trend emerged during the 2012 SS fashion season as a surprising new twist, just when the world of fashion thought to have seen it all and lives on to date. The idea itself originates from the artwork of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian.
Early on Mihano Momosa has met this trend in the pastel color palette and created a lighter version of this current. We took Olya and created a little look-book, to show how fun playing with colors can be.
